Hyewon Medical Foundation Sejong Hospital, led by Chairman Park Jin-sik, has opened a dedicated website for its International Healthcare Center.

The new website is expected to significantly improve convenience for foreign patients residing both in Korea and overseas.

According to Sejong Hospital on the 19th, the International Healthcare Center website was designed to help foreign patients and their guardians easily access overall information about the medical services provided by Bucheon Sejong Hospital and Incheon Sejong Hospital, 

as well as essential medical information needed before visiting the hospital.

The website is available in English, Chinese, Russian, and Mongolian. It provides organized information on medical procedures, departments and medical staff, hospitalization and admission procedures, outpatient schedules, visa and insurance-related information, 

and other key details foreign patients should know before using hospital services.

In particular, the website goes beyond simply providing information and also offers communication functions such as prompt consultations and responses. Professional coordinators at Sejong Hospital who speak foreign languages monitor inquiries in real time and provide feedback to patients and their guardians.

Sejong Hospital is widely recognized as a foreigner-friendly hospital, having obtained major medical institution accreditations, including Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, Korea’s acute care hospital accreditation, and the Korea Accreditation Program for Hospitals Serving Foreign Patients (KAHF). 

It has also been designated every year by the Ministry of Justice as an excellent medical tourism facilitator.

Since beginning its overseas medical sharing activities in 1989, including free surgeries for children with congenital heart disease from abroad, and launching its overseas patient attraction program in earnest in 2009, Sejong Hospital has welcomed more than 500 foreign patients every year, including patients with severe 

cardiovascular diseases.
