Hyewon Medical Foundation Sejong Hospital announced on the 29th that both Bucheon Sejong Hospital and Incheon Sejong Hospital have been designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare as “Specialist Pharmacist Training Institutions.”

The Ministry of Health and Welfare recently announced the result through a partial amendment notice on the designation of specialist pharmacist training institutions, after evaluating factors such as each institution’s medical departments and educational facilities, the status of pharmacist preceptors, and training plans.

Both Bucheon Sejong Hospital and Incheon Sejong Hospital were designated in two specialty fields: cardiovascular pharmacy and infectious diseases pharmacy.

Pharmacists who complete one year of training in the designated specialty fields at these hospitals will be eligible to take 

the national specialist pharmacist qualification examination at the end of next year.
