I have Korean National Health Insurance. Am I eligible to use interpreter services at the International Medical Center?
Patients covered by Korean National Health Insurance are, in principle, not provided with interpreter services at our center.
Does the International Medical Center provide interpreter services?
Yes. Full-time professional coordinators fluent in English, Mongolian, and Russian provide interpretation support throughout the entire medical process
I cannot come to the hospital, but I would like someone to attend the consultation on my behalf. What is the process and how much does it cost?
A proxy consultation is possible. Please submit an authorization letter and a copy of the patient’s ID in advance. Standard consultation fees apply depending on the content and duration of the visit
If I am admitted to the hospital, can a guardian stay with me in the hospital ward?
Yes. In general wards, one guardian may stay with the patient and a caregiver bed can be provided. Please note that specific regulations may vary by ward and will be explained at the time of admission.
How can I get a copy of my hospital records (medical records and/or radiological images)? Can I get the records in English? If I am unavailable, can someone else get a copy?
Yes. Medical records and radiological images can be issued in English upon request. If you are unable to come in person, a representative can collect them with a signed authorization letter and a copy of the patient’s ID.
How can I make an appointment for an E-2 visa medical check-up?
E-2 visa health examinations are available at Incheon Sejong Hospital. Please make a reservation in advance and visit on your scheduled date. You must bring your own interpreter
Are there any parking lots available?
Yes. There is a dedicated parking lot for patients and guardians inside the hospital. Parking discount tickets are provided for IMC visitors.
What accommodations are nearest to Sejong Hospital?

Can I do a medical check-up at the International Medical Center?
Yes. Health check-ups can be done at Incheon Sejong Hospital after making a reservation. Please note that you must bring your own interpreter on the day of your visit.
Can I use a prescription from another country?
Prescriptions issued abroad cannot be used directly at Korean pharmacies. If needed, IMC physicians can review your prescription and issue a valid Korean prescription.
