About the Department

The Department of Rheumatology specializes in the medical management of musculoskeletal disorders and autoimmune diseases.
It provides comprehensive care for systemic rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis, gout, pseudogout, systemic lupus erythematosus, inflammatory myopathies, systemic sclerosis, Behçet’s disease, vasculitis, Sjögren’s syndrome, and fibromyalgia.

In addition, the department is responsible for the internal medical treatment of other musculoskeletal conditions, including low back pain, shoulder pain, and tendinitis, focusing on accurate diagnosis, appropriate medical therapy, and long-term disease management.
