The Department of Critical Care Medicine provides primary medical care for patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) and ensures an optimal treatment environment through efficient allocation and management of human and material resources.

The department aims to improve survival rates, reduce complications, shorten ICU length of stay, and maintain strict medication safety management for critically ill patients.

In addition, the department continuously enhances the quality of critical care through the development of standardized treatment protocols and ongoing education for medical staff. Based on a multidisciplinary collaboration system, individualized and optimal treatment plans are provided according to each patient’s condition.
