About the Department

The purpose of the Department of Emergency Medicine is to ensure that the entire course of care for acute illnesses or injuries is carried out effectively by providing comprehensive and efficient initial treatment for emergency patients.
To deliver timely, high-quality, and specialized emergency medical care, the department maintains a broad understanding of various diseases and multiple trauma conditions, rapidly determines treatment priorities, and provides prompt and skilled emergency interventions.
